His clan meets that of Shaikh-e-Kabir Sirl bin Saqati. He was born in Zilqad 1000 AH., at Barwa a part of Jaunpur and died on Friday 9th Ramzan 1083 AH. at the time of Salatul Fajr. His books are as follows: Rashidiyya (Manazira), Sharah Hidayatul Hikmah, Sharah Asrarul Makhluqaat, Maqsudut Talibin, Zadus Salikin, Hawashi al-Kafia, Collection of Poetry, Hawashi Mukhtasar al-'Azudi, Khulas.tun Nabv.-
