dc.descriptionRemarks : There are some three seals, though the MSS is incomplete but it is nicely calligraphed and systematically preserved, some time back it was repaired and rebound. Shaikh Bahadur whose seal is found on the MS, and the owner of the MS namely Muhammad bin Shaikh Hamid, are eminent personalities of Surat. Shaikh Bahadur had edited the well-known Persian work Haqiqat-us-Surat written by his father Shaikh Raziuddin Bakhshish alias Bakhshu Miyan. For details about the literary achievements of this forgotten family, refer to the Urdu translation published by Gujarat Urdu Sahitya Academy, Gandhinagar, (year of publication: 2005).-
