dc.description"اختتام : ورجع (المعروف الكرخي ) فدق الباب فقيل له من بالباب فقال معروف فقيل له على اى دين فقال على الاسلام فاسلم ابواه وكان مشهورا باجابة الدعوة واهل بغداد يستشفون بقبره ويقولون قبر المعروف ترياق مجرب وكان السرى تلميذه فقال له يوما اذا كانت لك حاجة الى الله فأقسم عليه لى وقال السرى رأيت معروفا في المنام كأنه تحت العرش والبارى جلت قدرته يقول للملائكة من هذا وهم يقولون انت اعلم يا رب منا فقال هذا معروف الكرخي سكر من حبى فلا يفيق الابلقائي"-
